From this point forward, Invisio Clinical Studies Consulting UG will be receiving business partners and potential customers on the eastern side of the city. “We made the decision to move the company headquarters to the Unit Excellent Business Center Mannheim premises for strategic reasons,” said Florian Schnabel, CEO of Invisio. In saying this, he’s referring to the fact that, among other things, there is now the option of using the in-house conference room for seminars and workshops. “We can, for example, prepare our Study Nurses for their next assignment in a clinical study,” explained Schnabel, highlighting that Invisio would also like to offer its own advanced training on GCP/ICH guidelines as well as basic on-site courses for Study Nurses. He also believes that the good connection to local public transportation is a big plus. The tram travels several times an hour from Mannheim Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) in the direction of Harrlachweg, stopping almost directly in front of the center’s entrance.
For Florian Schnabel, the neighboring City Airport Mannheim is an important advantage: “There are daily flights to Hamburg and Berlin from Mannheim and vice versa. This gives us greater flexibility for snap meetings with customers in the northern and eastern parts of Germany, and guarantees that personal support can be offered throughout the country.” Flights also minimize travel time, thereby bringing cost advantages for business partners on the one hand and making it possible for employees to efficiently travel to Mannheim for one day on the other. “For example, Study Nurses from Berlin recently flew in, and we trained them for a new study project. That same evening, they returned to the capital. In this way, we could make the most of the day without wasting precious time,” explained the entrepreneur.
