New Contacts and Alliances – Bionnale 2019

Florian Schnabel positively summarizes his visit to the conference in Berlin in May

With an aim to establish contacts, expand his professional network and learn as much as possible about current developments in the life science and health industry, Florian Schnabel, Managing Partner of Invisio Clinical Studies Consulting & Services, visited the Bionnale 2019 in Berlin at the beginning of May. “For Invisio, participating in the event was definitely worthwhile,” summarizes Schnabel. “I used the matchmaking sessions to connect with other entrepreneurs and exchange ideas about various sectors with them. These sessions also allowed me to form new alliances: some projects are now contractually agreed upon and will start soon.”

Wide-Ranging Insights into the Industry While the matchmaking sessions facilitated interesting discussions that were arranged in advance, the various booths with representatives from science and industry were also a nice perk: they weren’t necessarily linked to the process of establishing concrete business contacts, but they did yield good dialogue. The Flying Study Nurses, a Mannheim-based company with credentials, is currently supporting doctors and clinics in improving their recruitment rates for clinical phase 1 to phase 4 studies, and assuming the project management of clinical multicenter studies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In the
future, Invisio will also support customers in other European countries with its services – for example in Italy, Spain, France and the United Kingdom.

“We notice that there is currently a lot of movement in the market and that demand is gradually changing. In this respect, the exchange has enabled me to make an interesting comparison between what we offer and the needs of potential customers,” says Schnabel.

The various presentations on developments and challenges in the health and life science sectors also provided a glimpse into the future. Florian Schnabel is particularly keen on this combination of networking opportunities and technical information. Says Schnabel: “In order to continue to support this format, we are planning to sponsor the event again next year.” Would you like to meet Florian Schnabel at one of the upcoming biotech and medical device industry conferences?
