Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal message to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Your rights as a data subject
You can exercise the following rights at any time using the contact details of our data protection officer:

Access to your stored data and their processing, correction of incorrect personal data, deletion of your data stored with us, restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations, objection to the processing of your data by us, and data portability if you have consented to data processing or have concluded a contract with us. If you have given us consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. You can always contact the supervisory authority responsible for you with a complaint. Your competent supervisory authority depends on the state of your residence, your work, or the alleged violation. A list of supervisory authorities (for the non-public area) with addresses can be found at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the audit, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is carried out unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need them to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Objection to data collection in special cases as well as against direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims (objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR).

If your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection according to Art. 21 Para. 2 GDPR).

2. Data collection on our website

Cookies
Our website uses cookies in part. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

We use cookies to enable you to make the best possible use of our website. These include cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website and for our commercial business objectives, and those that are used for statistical purposes (including Google Analytics) or for marketing purposes. By clicking on "Accept", you consent in accordance with Art. 49 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR to the processing of your data in the USA as a result of some cookies (including Google Analytics), where the level of data protection is inadequate according to EU standards. By clicking on "Accept", you also confirm that you agree to the use of the selected cookies. You can adjust the cookie settings at any time by clicking on Privacy settings and thus determine yourself which cookies you want to allow in detail. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the optimization of his website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and / or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR), since we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests addressed to us.

The data sent by you to us via contact requests remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after completion of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. Personal data about the use of our website (usage data) are collected, processed and used only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

3. Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke the consent you have given for storing the data, the email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data deposited with us for the purpose of obtaining the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after the newsletter is canceled. Data stored for other purposes with us remain unaffected.

4. Information on data transfer to the USA

With its judgment of 16.07.2020 (Case No. C‑311/18), the European Court of Justice has declared the so-called EU-US Privacy Shield agreement, which previously formed the legal basis for data transfer to the United States (USA), to be invalid. According to the GDPR, personal data may only be transferred to a third country if an adequate level of data protection is ensured in the recipient country or by the recipient. According to the ECJ, this is not the case in the USA due to the extensive access powers of the US security authorities to electronically stored data and the lack of legal protection options. In particular, affected individuals have no way of taking legal action against American authorities due to intelligence surveillance measures or enforcing their rights. The legal protection options for affected persons are limited to an ombudsman procedure, which apparently does not authorize the ombudsman to make binding decisions against intelligence services and which does not correspond to the European understanding of an independent judge. In addition, according to the applicable American regulations, the data processing of such surveillance measures is not limited to the absolutely necessary extent and therefore does not meet the minimum requirements existing under the principle of proportionality. The contrary "adequacy decision" of the EU Commission, according to which data transfers under the so-called "Privacy Shield" ensure an adequate level of data protection, has therefore been declared invalid by the ECJ with immediate effect. A transfer of personal data to a third country is still possible despite the lack of an adequacy decision or other suitable guarantees if the affected person has explicitly consented to the data transfer according to Art. 49 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, after being informed of the possible risks of such data transfers for them. We explicitly refer again to the described legal risks, in particular the access possibilities of US authorities to your data and the lack of legal protection options against this. With your consent given when using the site and the corresponding services, we transfer personal data to the following companies based in the USA:

Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics to analyze and statistically evaluate the use. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a server of Google in the USA and stored there.

IP Anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Objection to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

More information on the handling of user data at Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Order processing
We have concluded a contract for order processing with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic features at Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of the site visitors. These data come from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the display settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the item "Objection to data collection".

Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements from Google Inc. ("Google"). The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google AdSense uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). Through these web beacons, information such as the visitor traffic on these pages can be evaluated.

The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats are transferred to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. This information can be passed on by Google to contractual partners of Google. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored by you.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This feature allows the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).

If you have given appropriate consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. This way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on every device on which you sign in with your Google account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects google-authenticated IDs of users that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device ad advertising.

You can permanently opt-out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by turning off personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The aggregation of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser places on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for the personal identification of the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie through your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

More information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

You can set your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to uniformly display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. As a result, Google will know that our website has been accessed via your IP address.

Our legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR lies in using Google Web Fonts for optimizing our online service in terms of uniform and appealing presentation. However, we only use Google Web Fonts insofar as you have given your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.a GDPR in the Consent Management Tool. If your browser does not support web fonts or you have not given your consent in the Consent Management Tool, a standard font will be used by your computer.

More information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our online offers appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in the privacy policy of Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Objection to promotional emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
